Laura Ginès Bataller

“In this artwork, precisely because it had to be interactive, I chose drawing the frames on paper and not having much control of the line. It was a story about water, so I drew with ink on blotting paper previously soaked with water. I enjoyed spending time at the pace that the water dictated.”

Between experimental cinema and animated visual narration, Laura’s artwork always hybridizes graphic languages and searches for small fictions among routine to compose a more collective biography. Her films have been screened in international reference centers. She runs her own art in motion studio and teaches at university art and design centers in Barcelona.
